Norwich next for Shakers in FA Cup

On paper, not the best draw that Bury could have hoped for. I was sat in front of the tv begging for Man Utd, Newcastle, Man City or Liverpool away for a bit of a money spinner, or even Bolton at Gigg if we wanted an easy ride, but, Norwich it is.

Having said that its not easy though, I suspect many Shakers fans would say well, if we had to draw a championship team, maybe thats one of the better draws.

Norwich havent had the best start to a season, much like we havent, and have already gotten rid of the manager who was in place. Our attempts to lure them into believing Chris Casper would be superb for them and would be a good choice failed miserably and they plumped for a different option. Thank god for that as it turns out, as now CC together with Keith Alexander has produced the turnaround in fortune we were all highly keen to witness after two seasons of complete toss and relegation dogfights.

Norwich havent turned the formbook around yet, but theyre improving, which could be a bad sign for us, a very welcome one of them them though and of course, we all know that the Norwich catering is likely to be pretty good fare, if maybe pretty expensive with Auntie Delia ruling the roost there, but, I`ll check on that with someone friendly on the Vital Norwich site.

From looking at the Norwich website, it also looks like Auntie Delia isnt everyones cup of tea either right now, but again, i`ll try and find out if someone on their Vital site (the best football sites!(does that get me any brownie points?)) might find time to answer a few questions for me before the game arrives.

As it is, good luck to Norwich for the season (just not in the FA Cup guys please) and lets hope they turn it around, from what i remember of my last visit, a very friendly bunch of fans.

As long as one of my old “little” heores does it again you’ll be laughing…… Me and Jim Provett were in the same H’pool under 16’s side, what a shot-stopper. And still today. All the best Shakers. PS…. Any chance we can have Andy Bish, we’ll swap you for Barker and Ian Moore (I know you love ex-Burnley)……
