The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Port Vale this coming Monday.

Bury travel to Port Vale on Monday December 28 for the game at Vale Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: James Adcock
Linesmen: Neil Davies and Paul Hodskinson
Fourth Official: David Plowright

Match Day referee Adcock (Nottinghamshire) has officiated one Bury game this season – the four three defeat to Fleetwood in August. In that game he showed four yellow cards, three to Bury.

He has however already taken in fifteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 38 yellow cards and zero red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Gillingham and Oldham on October 3 with a total of four yellows being shown. Four has been a lucky number for him in games against Leeds and Ipswich in September, Bury and Fleetwood in August and the opening day of the campaign between Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
