The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Fleetwood Town this weekend.

Bury travel to Fleetwood Town on Saturday January 2 for the game at Highbury and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Nigel Miller
Linesmen: Geoffrey Liddle and Joseph Johnson
Fourth Official: Jonathan Hunt

Match Day referee Miller (County Durham) has officiated one Bury game this season – the two one victory over Coventry in September. In that game he showed one yellow card to the opposition.

He has however already taken in sixteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and Football divisions, he has handed out a total of 50 yellow cards and three red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Peterborough United and Sheffield United on August 18 with a total of seven yellows being shown. He also showed six yellows and one red in the game between Nottingham Forest and Hull City on October 3.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
