Following the 3-2 victory over Yeovil, Kevin Blackwell has admitted he has no idea about his own future because of the state of the club at the minute.

Speaking to the press following the game, the actual win and performance was pretty much secondary for both the manager and the players alike with so many futures up in the air.

‘I don’t know what’s going on at the moment. If new people come in they might not want me anyway. I am sure of one thing. I will not be hanging around if we’re struggling to get wages in and pay the players. That’s not a way to run a football club and I won’t stay if that happens.’

Blackwell says the players haven’t received the credit they deserve for their efforts this season and he feels he as manager, and the club, have let them down – especially as with a bit of luck he feels we could’ve avoided relegation stating.

‘But the way we’re run at the moment, it’s no wonder why we are where we are.’

Lots of recriminations and blame are going to go around at the minute which unfortunately is going to take the focus off planning for the future.
