Bury have confirmed that our game against Blackpool in March has now been moved forward 24 hours and one of our pre season friendlies has now been cancelled.

With us scheduled to make the trip to Bloomfield Road on the Easter Weekend, the game was originally set for Saturday March 26 but it has now been moved to Good Friday – Friday March 25 – and it will carry a 3pm kick off.

The move by 24 hours enables us to have an extra period of recovery ahead of our home hosting of Gillingham in the Easter Monday fixture on Monday March 28.

Additionally our friendly against Warrington Town, set for Friday evening, has now been cancelled owing to circumstances beyond either clubs control.

Warrington had their pitch relaid over the summer and despite their best efforts it isn’t 100% ready yet to be played on, so the game has had to be called off.

Fans’ first glimpse of the new side built by manager David Flitcroft this summer will be Wednesday July 22 when we face Morecambe.
